The Bluebell Garden
The Garden was established by the Foundation as a place where those who have lost a baby or child could sit peacefully in a tranquil and beautiful place to remember them. This area is a private area for those wishing to grieve in peace and quiet, away from the pressures of today’s world.
The area is open 24/7 for all those wishing to make their way to it. This means that you can come and enter it any time, day or night, for some reflection and undisturbed thought.
The Bluebell Garden is located at Furness General Hospital opposite the Car Park.
A refurbishment in 2020, with the help of our Secretary Jo Cairns and local businesswoman Marianne Livesey, has transformed the area into a colourful and calming space for those wishing to visit it, and we encourage anyone who might want to visit to do so whenever they’re ready.
